A 100-metre-long tunnel forms the main access route to Kustermann Park. The facility was renovated and significantly upgraded in a comprehensive project in 2016.
The new lighting for the tunnel as an entryway enhances its connecting and guiding function and contributes to its address formation. In addition to the uniform basic lighting of the carriageway, the striking, white-lacquered tunnel sheet pile walls are accentuated with colour.
The illuminated wall side and colour change approximately in the middle of the tunnel with a certain overlap, creating a smooth transition.
