The new district centre acts as a hub for buses, local trains, and Park & Ride facilities, and offers a new shopping centre as well as services and catering.

The urban spaces are defined by the surrounding building facades. The new identity emerges from the newly created facades: the new ensemble with the EVER'S shopping centre and its associated office building, and the Bike & Ride facility to the north, bordering the railway line, including the access building to the S-Bahn station. The latter two particularly shape the location through their coloured walkway glazing, which appears industrial yet simultaneously modern and unique as a building material in the urban space.

The lighting addresses the differences in seating arrangements and supports spatial definition through facade lighting. The backlighting of the glass elements particularly accentuates the colour scheme in the evening.
