Sculptor Yoshiyuki Miura's light sculpture hangs in the atrium of the Boston Consulting Group, on Munich's Ludwigstraße. The object is made of seemingly countless 8m-long nylon threads, which are painted orange. From above, a cluster of LED spotlights shines down, almost parallel, like a sunbeam along the object. This creates a luminous ellipsoid that appears to float freely in space.
