The multifunctional Upper Rhine Hall at Offenburg Exhibition Centre forms the representative head building for the Baden area.

The brickwork in the original exhibition hall has been largely preserved. The rough structure of the dark facade is deliberately highlighted by grazing light in the dark. Together with the impressive canopy and the transparent facade, it shapes the external appearance. The orange-coloured wall surfaces are selectively illuminated to enhance the building's transparency.

The event hall was given a slatted structure as wall cladding. The backlighting of the slats with colour-controllable light is integrated into the control of the stage lighting, thus bathing the entire hall in different lighting moods.
