We cordially invite you to our lecture evening on 16th May 2025, to:
„In Praise of Shadows – Architecture in Japan“
Prof. Koji Yamanaka (GENETO Architects / Osaka Seikei University – Faculty of Letters) will report on his work, which he places in relation to Tanizaki Junichiro’s literary work on Japanese aesthetics.
The lecture will be translated into English by Asako Yamashita (GENETO Architects / Osaka Seikei University).
„Perception through light and shadow“
Frank Bernhard Vetter (DAY & LIGHT) explores how human perception is influenced by well-planned, random or poor lighting.
We look forward to welcoming you to the DAY & LIGHT premises from 5.00 pm. The talks, starting at 5.30 pm, will each last around 40 minutes. We look forward to a discussion afterwards.
