In 2002, a round car park was created for the Burda Media Park in Offenburg, impressively combining architecture and corporate identity. The sculptural large-scale form with its semi-transparent cable facade wraps around the building like a veil, interpreting the media park as „Land Art“. Prefabricated cable elements with suspended wooden dowels form an extraordinary shell, behind which lies the naturally ventilated, compact car park with internal ramps and stairwells. Integrated lights in the tension straps make the volume glow from within, giving it a special transparency at night.
