…becomes a reality in the freefall simulator in Neufahrn near Munich. A building has been erected here which houses a glass tunnel, serving skydivers for training or offering the curious their first opportunity for simulated freefall.
The building is constructed in a simple industrial style, which gains a chic and very modern appeal through noble exposed concrete, welded steel elements, and above all, through the double-skin facade with translucent corrugated sheets.
The latter is backlit by LED elements and creates a unique and eye-catching appearance, visible even from a distance.
The interior lighting creates brilliance and plasticity, and effectively highlights the raw character of the exposed concrete surfaces.
