Lighting concept In the evening, the new bus station is characterised by its bright and friendly appearance. Area lights on the supports, illuminating the roof surface in a neutral white light colour, provide uniform indirect lighting and significant visual impact from a distance. The light colour creates a discernible connection to the DB (German Rail) platform areas, which are also illuminated in neutral white. The illumination of the bus bays is complemented by direct lighting from punctual light sources in a warm white light colour. This creates brilliance with good plastic definition and a pleasant perception of people on the bus bays. In combination with the indirect lighting, this creates a balanced lighting scheme.
The surrounding traffic areas will receive adequate, uniform illumination from LED mast lights in a simple, modern design, also with warm white light. The exterior bus platforms will be illuminated by additional floodlights on the masts.
The trees on the inside receive a brightening from the ground up. The light canopy creates an additional quality of stay and also shapes the appearance of the place.
