Lighting concept Decorative, simple lights will be distributed along the central axis of the market square to illuminate traffic areas and to complement the essential design of the urban space. In the line of sight are the tree gateway, illuminated solely by ground recessed spotlights, and the Kreuzberg with its illuminated monastery.
The facades remain characteristic spatial boundaries of the square in the evening: the characteristic old town lights are to be converted and retained as key lighting: they will be equipped with a significantly warmer light colour (2200 Kelvin), shielded glare-free towards the front, and will partially illuminate the partly coloured facade surfaces.
In Steingasse, predominantly along the town stream and in the lower Steingasse, discreetly decorative luminaires with good lighting comfort are used to illuminate the traffic areas well while remaining glare-free for passers-by and residents.
