In 2017, the company Techpilot moved into larger premises: a Giesing factory loft – an industrial building from 1933 with large window fronts. The passionate architects at VONMEIERMOHR, masters of sensitive refurbishment, designed the office spaces while preserving the industrial and historical character of the location.
The transparent room dividers with iron-paned windows and the segmentation of the space by the columns and underlying beams are distinctive. The latter has been subtly highlighted by the lighting. The general lighting has been combined with acoustic elements on the ceiling. Indirect light components ensure a bright ceiling. The direct light components provide the necessary illuminance levels for the workstations. The uniform room illumination, together with workstation-specific desk lamps, thus offers high lighting comfort, healthy work lighting with the option to individualise it.
